Create the mailbox in cPanel first, then open the email application's account setup screen. Enter the complete email address as the username and use the mailbox password.
Use the secure incoming and outgoing server names, ports, and encryption settings shown under Connect Devices in cPanel. IMAP is recommended when mail should remain synchronized across devices. Enable SMTP authentication for outgoing mail. If automatic setup fails, use the manual settings supplied by cPanel.
