SMTP Port 25 availability depends on the VPS product you choose.
• Unmetered VPS: Outbound SMTP Port 25 is open by default in every available Unmetered VPS location. Other common SMTP ports can also be used, subject to your server firewall and mail-server configuration.
• Regular VPS: Outbound SMTP Port 25 is permanently blocked. It cannot be opened on request. If your workload requires direct Port 25 connectivity, choose an Unmetered VPS instead.
Important email requirements
Open Port 25 permits SMTP network connectivity, but it does not guarantee message delivery, inbox placement, or a good sender reputation. Customers must correctly configure and secure their mail server, reverse DNS where applicable, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Email must be legitimate and permission-based.
Spam, unsolicited bulk email, phishing, malware distribution, and other abusive activity are prohibited. All usage must comply with HostViber's anti-spam rules, Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable laws.
Dedicated servers
SMTP Port 25 availability on dedicated servers may depend on the selected provider, plan, and location. Contact HostViber before ordering a dedicated server if Port 25 is essential to your workload, and obtain written confirmation for the exact configuration.
